I designed a modest wear collection that reminisces on my upbringing as an Uzbek from Afghanistan growing up in the US. The designs reflect what I knew to be beautiful in fashion.

I embraced untraditional silhouettes and design elements to represent my American identity. Meanwhile, the traditional Uzbek ikat print and embroidered appliques reflect aspects of my Uzbek culture. This collection redefines elegance in beauty and it offers a different perspective of what modest fashion can be.
